BANGOR — Two people were injured in a two-car accident Friday evening.

At about 5:49 p.m., Michael D. Alfieri, 43, of Moira, was traveling east on Route 11 when he attempted to turn left into a driveway, according to Malone-based State Police.

Noel N. Fefee, 60, of Brushton, was also traveling east four cars behind Alfieri when he attempted to pass a line of cars that had slowed for a snowplow, police said.

While passing, Fefee collided with Alfieri who had signaled his turn, police said.

Alfieri and a passenger under 16 years old, whose name police declined to release, were transported to Alice Hyde Medical Center for complaints of neck and head pain.

Fefee was ticketed for interfering with a safe operation, police said.
