PLATTSBURGH — A Plattsburgh man is in jail after threatening a local judge, according to Plattsburgh City Police.
Timothy L. Irwin, 50, was arrested at 10:35 p.m. Wednesday on the Brand Hallow Road for making terroristic threats, which is a Class D Felony.
Wednesday during a supervised visitation at the Child Care Coordinating Council of the North Country, Irwin made threats against Family Court Judge Timothy Lawliss. Irwin’s remarks were reported at 5:35 p.m. to City Police.
Irwin was arraigned at 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning in City Court and remanded to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash or $20,000 bail.
