PLATTSBURGH — Three teens were arrested for allegedly stealing bicycles from Wal-Mart.
Plattsburgh-based State Police received a call at about 1:38 p.m. Sept. 24 from Wal-Mart loss prevention officers after they caught three teenagers allegedly stealing bikes from the store.
Police said video surveillance showed Cody C. Waite, 16, of Plattsburgh, Phillip R. Long, 19, of Plattsburgh and Austin M. Combs, 18, of Plattsburgh taking the bicycles from the store. Each bike was valued more than $1,000.
The three teens were charged with fourth-degree larceny, a felony.
They were arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court before being released on an appearance ticket.
They are all due back in court Oct. 4.
