BOMBAY — A Hogansburg woman was charged Dec. 12 with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
April M. Burns, 27, was pulled over by Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police at 12:41 a.m., according to a news release from the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe.
Burns was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a felony; operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or more, a misdemeanor, and driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Police allege Burns’s blood-alcohol content was .13 percent.
Police learned Burns was wanted on a federal warrant issued by United States Marshals and she was transfered to the Franklin County Jail after arraignment in Bombay Town Court.
