SCHUYLER FALLS — A Morrisonville man was charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation Friday.
Alejandro Torriente, 46, was pulled over by police on Ormsby Drive, according to a Clinton County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Upon further investigation, police discovered that Torriente’s driver’s license was allegedly revoked after he was convicted of aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent or higher, the release said.
Torriente was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a felony; unlicensed operator, a violation; and moving from lane unsafely, also a violation.
He was placed under arrest and was arraigned in the Town of Plattsburgh Court and remanded to Clinton County Jail in lieu of $250 cash bail.
Torriente is scheduled to appear at the Town of Schuyler Falls court Feb. 26 at 3 p.m.
