TUPPER LAKE — A man was arrested and charged with criminal sale of a narcotic preparation, according to the Tupper Lake Police Department.
Vaughn P. Cole, 29, of Tupper Lake was arrested on a warrant at 10 a.m. on Friday, police said, adding that the arrest was for an incident that took place on November 18, 2013.
Cole was charged with fourth-degree criminal sale of a narcotic preparation, a felony, as well as criminal possession of a controlled substance and second degree reckless endangerment, both misdemeanors, and unlawful possession of marijuana, according to police.
Police said that the felony charge was related to prescriptions drugs.
Cole was arraigned before Judge DeLair and sent to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $5,000 or $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 13.
