MALONE — A Burke man was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated.
Jamiel Stapleton, 50, was taken into custody by Malone-based State Police following a traffic stop at about 6:15 p.m. Oct. 31.
Police charged him with felony driving while ability impaired for being under the influence of drugs and for having a prior conviction within the past ten years.
Stapleton was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor along with an infraction for driving vehicle that was not inspected.
He was released from custody on an undisclosed amount of bail.
