MALONE — An inmate was charged after allegedly carrying and concealing a knife.
The incident happened at 1:02 p.m. Nov. 21, 2012, at Bare Hill Correctional Facility.
Bryant Watson, 20, was charged with possession of dangerous contraband in prison, first degree.
State Police said that he had been entering a gym when he suddenly fled to avoid being patted down by a corrections officer.
The officer pursued and tackled him, and found that Watson had a one-inch knife in his pocket, according to State Police.
