MALONE -- Making an improper u-turn caused a two car accident in Malone Friday afternoon.

Malone State Police said Tiffany Rockhill, 28, from Brushton was trying to make a U-turn near the Wal-Mart on Route 11 when she crashed into the vehicle behind her. Police said she did not notice the vehicle when she was turning.

Mark Deuwour was the operator of the second vehicle, a 2005 Ford SUV.

The impact of the collision caused Rockhill and Deuwour both minor head and neck injuries and they were both transported to the Alice Hyde Medical Center. They were released within a few hours, police said.

A turning violation was issued to Rockhill.
