Cases heard before Acting County Court Judge Penelope Clute:

Christopher A. Stickles, 22, of Moira pleaded guilty under Superior Court Information rather than a grand-jury indictment to third-degree attempted arson, stemming from an incident July 28, 2007.

He was originally charged with third-degree arson and is expected to be sentenced Aug. 14.

An 18-year-old Hogansburg youth, who was not identified because of his age, pleaded guilty under Superior Court Information rather than a grand-jury indictment to third-degree attempted robbery, stemming from an incident Sept. 22, 2007.

He was originally charged with two counts of second-degree robbery and second-degree menacing and is expected to be sentenced Aug. 14.

John E. Bessey Jr., 20, of McGowan Road, Malone, pleaded guilty under Superior Court Information rather than a grand-jury indictment to third-degree attempted burglary, stemming from an incident March 25, 2007.

He was originally charged with third-degree arson and third-degree burglary and is expected to be sentenced Aug. 14.

Cases heard before County Court Judge Robert G. Main Jr.:

Christopher Perry, 18, of Pitt Street, Brushton, was sentenced to two to four years in state prison for fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, stemming from an incident April 30.

John L. Musgrove, no age available, of Gale Road, Moira, denied he violated the terms of his court-ordered probation and will have a hearing June 23 at 1 p.m.

A possible youthful offender, who was not identified because of his age, pleaded not guilty to two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny and two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, stemming from an incident Dec. 3, 2007.

The case was adjourned until June 27 at 9 a.m.

Peter Adams, 42, no address available, was sentenced to three years probation with the first 30 days to be served in County Jail for driving while intoxicated, stemming from an incident March 3, 2006.

He was also fined $1,000.

Daniel W. J. LaClair, 22, of Ellenburg Center, pleaded guilty to third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, stemming from an incident Dec. 14, 2007.
