MALONE -- Confusion over who had the right-of-way at a traffic light here Sunday afternoon lead to a collision that sent one driver to the hospital.
Village of Malone Police say Harold M. Perry, 69, of Malone, was driving east on W. Main Street in a 2005 Buick when the car was struck by a 2005 Dodge car driven by Susan M. Wilson-Scott, 50, also a village resident. The incident occurred around 1:25 p.m.
Harold told police he had a green light to drive through the intersection of Finney Boulevard. Wilson-Scott, who was facing the opposite direction on W. Main Street, said she had a green-arrow to turn left onto Finney.
After the accident, Harold and passenger Jone Perry, 66, also of Malone, complained of chest pain. Harold drove to Alice Hyde Medical Center where he and Perry were treated and released
