PERU — Nicole LaBarge and Daniel Semrow were married Oct. 5, 2013, at Mother Cabrini Shrine in Peru, N.Y. by Father Scott Seymour. The ceremony was followed by a reception at the West Side Ballroom, with music provided by C.R. Tunes.
The bride is the daughter of Bruce and Robin LaBarge of Morrisonville. N.Y. The groom is the son of Dennis and Karen Semrow of Port Huron, Mich.
Stacey Montalvo of Georgia, the bride's cousin, was matron of honor. Jared Semrow of Port Huron, Mich., the groom's cousin, was best man.
Bridesmaids were Marissa Bechtold of Cleveland, Ohio, Krista Lennox of Buffalo, N.Y., Kelly Humphreys of Utica, N.Y., Kelly Malone and Kristen McNally, both of Long Island, N.Y., all friends of the bride. Flower girls were Ella LaBarge of Morrisonville, niece of the bride and Abigail Johnson of Lansing, Mich., niece of the groom.
Ushers were Ronny Terry of Michigan, Scott Huston of West Palm Beach, Fla., Josh Maes of Irvine, Calif., Jeff Summers of Nashville, Tenn, all friends of the groom, and Corey Semrow of Irvine, Calif., cousin of the groom. Ring bearer was Aden Labarge of Morrisonville, nephew of the bride.
Nicole Semrow graduated from Peru Central High School in 2003, SUNY Cortland in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in Math Education and SUNY Plattsburgh in 2013, with a master's degree in Special Education. She is employed as a high school math teacher in Michigan.
Daniel Semrow graduated from Port Huron Northern High School in 2000, and completed his IBEW apprenticeship in 2008. He is employed with IBEW as a journeyman/lineman.
After an Alaskan cruise in the summer of 2014, the couple will reside in Michigan.
