PLATTSBURGH -- Sarah E. Schultz and Jeremy B. Stygles were married July 5, 2008, in St. John's Catholic Church, Plattsburgh, by the Rev. J. Roger McGuinness.

The bride is the daughter of David P. and Deborah A. Schultz of Ballston Lake. The bridegroom is the son of Matthew A. Stygles and Kathleen L. Peters of Plattsburgh.

Elizabeth Eldredge was matron of honor. Best man was Scott Tarbox.

Bridesmaids were Brandy Ross of Crown Point, Christina Ortiz of AuSable Forks and Michelle Regon of Clearwater, Fla. Rhiana Stygles, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Ushers were Justin Stygles of Oxford, Maine, the bridegroom's brother; Justin Hanford of Saxapahaw, N.C., brother-in-law of the bridegroom; and Anthony Chauvin of Hyde Park, Vt., the bridegroom's cousin.

A reception was held at Cricket's in Peru.

Sarah Stygles graduated from Ballston Lake High School, Burnt Hills, in 1999 and Plattsburgh State in 2003 with a degree in environmental science. She is employed at Advocacy and Resource Center in Plattsburgh.

Jeremy Stygles graduated from Peru Central in 1998 and attends Plattsburgh State. He will graduate in 2009 with a degree in computer science. He is a sonar tech in the U.S. Navy and is employed at Multina, Plattsburgh.

The couple is planning a honeymoon in the spring. They reside on the Ashley Road in Beekmantown.
