Published September 06, 2008 09:30 pm - Laura Marie Reyell and Brian L. Gokey were married July 19, 2008, at the edge of the Salmon River in Westville, by the Honorable Judge Brenda St. Hilaire.

WESTVILLE -- Laura Marie Reyell and Brian L. Gokey were married July 19, 2008, at the edge of the Salmon River in Westville, by the Honorable Judge Brenda St. Hilaire. The ceremony was followed by a reception in the lower field at the edge of the Salmon River at Pine Ridge Campsites in Westville. A bonfire followed at dusk.

The bride is the daughter of Darlene L. Durgan of Morrisonville and Francis "Buzz" and Linda Reyell of West Chazy. The bridegroom is the son of Richard "Joe" and Helen Gokey of Malone.

Kristie Fisher of Malone was the matron of honor. Best man was Gerald W. Fisher of Malone.

Bridesmaids were Martha Breyette of Saranac, and her sister, Jessica Dukett of Plattsburgh, both cousins of the bride. Haley Jean Fisher of Malone, daughter of the matron of honor and best man, was flower girl.

Ring bearer was Bradley Bruso of Malone.

Laura Marie Gokey graduated from Peru Senior High School. She is a correction officer at Bare Hill Correctional Facility in Malone.

Brian L. Gokey graduated from Franklin Academy. He is also a correction officer at Bare Hill Correctional Facility. With 30 years of membership, he is also an assistant chief in the Malone Callfireman Department. He is also a New York state fire instructor for Franklin County.

The Gokeys reside in Malone.
