KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Steven and Deborah Bouvia of 5409 Crooked Pine Lane, Knoxville, Tenn., celebrated their 30th anniversary July 12, 2008, by taking a trip to the Grand Ole Opry and sightseeing with their children and Deborah's parents, Roldon and Joyce Brown, who celebrated their 50th anniversary.

Steven Bouvia and Deborah Brown were married July 15, 1978, in St. Peter's Church, Plattsburgh, by the Rev. LeBrun. Their wedding attendants were Wendy McGarr and Robert Bousquet.

Steven is an MRI technician at Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville, and is also employed at the Knoxville Police Department, School Division. He retired from the U.S. Army after 27 years. Deborah worked in a doctor's office, and she has been a Girl Scout leader for 17 years.

Steven and Deborah are formerly from Plattsburgh. Steven graduated from Peru Central School and Clinton Community College. Deborah graduated from Beekmantown Central School and BOCES with an LPN degree.

They have two children, twins, Melissa Bouvia and Matthew Bouvia, both of Knoxville.
