ELLENBURG CENTER -- Andy and Betty Miller of 163 Trombley Road, Ellenburg Center, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 14, 2008, with renewal of their vows by the Rev. Gilbert Boisvert. The gathering, celebrated at the Ellenburg Center Fire Station, was given by their children.

Andy Miller and Betty Burnell were married June 14, 1958. Their attendants were Elizabeth Miller, sister of the bride; and Joseph Miller, brother of the bridegroom.

They have five children: Cindy Miller and Mark Trombley of North Bangor; Andy and Nancy Miller of Ellenburg; Randy and Christina Trombley of Ellenburg Depot; Louie and Sherry LaValley of Ellenburg Depot; and Charles and Lisa Longtemps of Ellenburg Center. Andy and Betty have seven grandchildren: Eric, Nathan and Maegan LaValley; Bryan, Brock and Nicholas Trombley and Devin Longtemps. Their first great-grandchild is due in September.

Andy and Betty are both enjoying their retirement years, spending time with their children, grandchildren and family. In their spare time, they enjoy the casino, bingo, camping and reminiscing of times gone by and looking forward to many more ahead of them.
