LYON MOUNTAIN — Darrell and Christina Danussi of Standish Road, Lyon Mountain, and Jerry and Judy Wilder of County Route 25, Malone, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lynn Danussi, of 111 Harkness Road, Peru, to Ian William Spellman, also of Peru. He is the son of William and Donna Spellman of Church Street, Chateaugay.

Jennifer Danussi graduated from Chateaugay Central School in 2000 and North Country Community College, Saranac Lake, with an associate degree in applied science in nursing. She is a registered nurse on R6 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

Ian Spellman graduated from Chateaugay Central in 1999, SUNY Canton, and Clinton Community College, Plattsburgh, with an associate degree in applied science in industrial technology. He attends Devry for a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management degree and is employed at General Dynamics in Burlington, Vt.

A Jan. 20, 2009, wedding is being planned in Ocho Rios Jamaica.
