— WEST CHAZY — Scott and Laura Lombard of West Chazy announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan, of Plattsburgh, to Ryan Thomas Emery, son of Thomas and Tammy Emery of Plattsburgh.

Megan Lombard graduated from Beekmantown Central School in 2005 and Plattsburgh State in 2009 with a BSW degree in social work. She is employed at Mangia's Restaurant in Plattsburgh.

Ryan Emery graduated from Peru Central School in 2007. He is employed at Price Chopper in Plattsburgh and Game Stop.

An Aug. 7, 2010, wedding is being planned.
