CHAZY -- Richard and Patti Boyea of 74 Baker Road, Chazy, announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley, of 1113 Bondhu Place, Morrisville, N.C., to Kevin Ryan, also of Morrisville, son of Tim and Kathy Ryan of 33 Reynolds Road, West Chazy.

Ashley Boyea graduated from Chazy Central Rural School in 2002, Clinton Community College in 2004 with an associate's degree in Liberal Arts, and Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital School of Radiology in 2006 with an associate degree in Radiologic Technology. She earned a bachelor's degree in health care administration in 2006 from Empire State College. She is a radiology manager at Wake Internal Medicine and is also an emergency room radiologic technologist for the University of North Carolina Hospital.

Kevin Ryan graduated from Chazy Central Rural School in 2001, Mohawk Valley Community College in 2003 with an associate degree in civil engineering, and Plattsburgh State in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in environmental science planning and management. He is a laboratory manager with CTL Engineering.

A June 7 wedding has been planned.
