PLATTSBURGH — Brittany Ann Edwards and Ryan Matthew Goddeau were married on Dec. 28, 2013, at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh, N.Y. by Father Lawrence Deno.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Carla Edwards of Plattsburgh. The groom is the son of Matthew and Darlene Goddeau of Morrisonville, NY.
Alexandra Mihalek of Los Angeles, Calif. was the maid of honor. Benjamin Gadbois of Peru, N.Y. was the best man.
The bridesmaids were Suzannah Chatlos, friend of the bride, Amanda Goddeau, sister of the groom, Meghan Miller, Kelsie Miller, and Makensie Donoghue, all cousins of the bride. The flower girl was Alexandra Tobrocke, cousin of the bride.
The groomsmen were Jonathan Edwards, brother of the bride, Cameron Ladue, and Bradley Boshart, both friends of the groom.
The bride was escorted by her parents, Michael and Carla Edwards. Readers were Jennifer Donoghue, aunt of the bride, Scott Miller, uncle of the bride and Lori Wills, aunt of the groom.
Brittany graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 2006. She graduated from Plattsburgh State in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Early Elementary Education. She obtained her master's degree in Literacy Education from Plattsburgh State in 2011. Brittany is currently employed by Peru Central School District.
Ryan graduated from Peru High School in 2006. He attended SUNY Canton College. Ryan currently owns and operates his own excavating business, R.M.G Enterprises.
After a Feb. 2014 honeymoon to Las Vegas, the couple resides in Cadyville, N.Y.
