PLATTSBURGH — Tiffani May Williams and Joseph Andrew Light were married June 20, 2012, in a private ceremony at the Blessed John XXIII Newman Center by Father Timothy Canaan.
On May 25, 2013, they celebrated the reaffirmation of their vows with extended family and friends at St. John the Baptist Church with Father Timothy Canaan officiating. The bride is the daughter of James and Cynthia Williams of Plattsburgh. The bridegroom is the son of Brian and Kathleen Light of Cadyville.
Corey Wheet of Queens, New York was man of honor. Emily Wray of Durham, NC was maid of honor. Mark Yanulavich of Cadyville and Adam Carter of Plattsburgh were best men.
Bridesmaids were Melissa Light, Nicole Williams, Lindsay Spatola, Jennifer Kelley, Keryn Rafferty, and Katie Relation. Groomsmen were Jason Williams, Nicholas Tamer, Eric Buoye, Gabe Bowen, Bryan Caron, and Steve Yaeger. Readers were Amie Bortnick and Betty Stine.
A reception was held at the West Side Ballroom in Plattsburgh. Music was provided by Glass Onion.
Tiffani Light graduated from Beekmantown Central School in 2001 and is a 2005 graduate of SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Childhood and Special Education. She graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2006 with a Masters of Science in Literacy Education. She is a Special Education Teacher at Oak Street Elementary School in Plattsburgh.
Joseph Light graduated from Saranac Central School in 2001 and is a 2005 graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. He is a Border Patrol Agent stationed in Malone, NY.
After a July 2013 honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple now resides in Cadyville, NY.
