ALTONA — Stephanie Bezio and Michael DeFiglio were married June 6, 2009, in the Rainbow Wedding and Banquet Hall Gold Room, Altona, by Judge Kevin Patnode. The ceremony was followed by a reception.

The bride is the daughter of Sherman and Yvonne Bezio of Keeseville. The bridegroom is the son of Paul and Eva DeFiglio of Latham.

Kari Kurtz of Clifton Park, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Best man was Ernest Brown of Watervliet.

Bridesmaids were Kyris Smith of Plattsburgh; Katie Benway of Keeseville; Pam Sicko of Clifton Park; Ellyn Blaise of Keeseville; and Maria DeFiglio of New York City, the bridegroom's sister. Flower girl was Katrina Miller of Plattsburgh, cousin of the bride.

Ushers were Brian Kurtz of Clifton Park, brother-in-law of the bride; Carlo Curva of Latham; Wayne Cook of Sanford, N.C.; Jacob Blaise of Lake George, the bride's cousin; and Jimmy Stickles of Keeseville. Cameron Curva of Latham was ring bearer.

Readers were Kelley Casey-Blaise and Barbara Way, the bride's aunts. The Rev. James Miller, cousin of the bride, gave the blessing.

Stephanie DeFiglio graduated from AuSable Valley Central School in 2003 and SUNY University at Albany in December 2005 with a bachelor's degree. She is a correction officer for New York State Department of Corrections.

Michael DeFiglio graduated from Shaker High School in 2002; Hudson Valley Community College in 2004 with an associate's degree; and Siena College in 2006 with a bachelor's degree. He is a merchandiser for Decresente.

After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the DeFiglios reside in Schuylerville.
