Miner -- Johnson

— KEESEVILLE -- Scott and Lorraine Miner of Keeseville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jatha, to Andrew Johnson, son of William and Lynne Johnson of Upper Jay. Jatha is the granddaughter of William and Jane Miner of Plattsburgh. Andy is the grandson of Paul and Marguerite Johnson of Buffalo.
Jatha Miner is a 1999 graduate of AuSable Valley Central School and a 2003 graduate of St. John Fisher College with a bachelor's degree in psychology, suma cum laude, with honors. She is also a 2007 graduate of Plattsburgh State with a master's degree in education and certificate of advanced study in school counseling. Jatha is a K-12 school counselor at Keene Central School.
Andy Johnson is a 1996 graduate of AuSable Valley Central School, a 2001 graduate of Plattsburgh State with a bachelor's degree in environmental science, and a 2007 graduate of Plattsburgh State with a Master of Science in teaching. He is an earth science teacher at AuSable Valley Middle High School.
A July wedding has been planned.
