— CHAZY -- Peter and Penny Bursik of Chazy announce the engagement of their daughter, Christy Simpson, to Adam Christopher Tamer, son of George and Kimberly Tamer of Cadyville.
Christy Simpson graduated from Beekmantown High School in 2001. She is a home health aide and will be attending CV-TEC in Plattsburgh for the LPN course.
Adam Tamer graduated from Saranac High School in 2004. He is employed at the Clinton County Sheriff's Department.
An Aug. 8, 2009, wedding is being planned.
