Bear’s Den Market is open 24/7 with full café service from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. In off hours, guests can access the market via the Whiteface Lodge front desk. Its focal point is a massive, copper Elektra espresso machine, from which the market staff concocts made-to-order specialty coffee drinks.

Fresh-baked pastries are prepared by Whiteface Lodge’s executive pastry chef, Paul de Long, using locally sourced products as much as possible. From the market’s refrigerated case, guests can grab sandwiches made daily in the lodge’s restaurant kitchen, a selection of cold beverages and simple grocery items such as local eggs and milk.
