PLATTSBURGH — Some of the most successful members of Castrol's Professional Angler Team will appear at the Plattsburgh Wal-Mart Supercenter Wednesday .
The members of the Castrol Fishing Team will host a Fishing Clinic where fishing fans of all ages can meet the Professional Bass Anglers, talk fishing strategies and stories, discuss tournament-winning tips and get an autograph.
The clinic will be held Wednesday from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Wal-Mart Supercenter located at 25 Consumer Square. The clinic is held in conjunction with the FLW Tour Event taking place on Lake Champlain July 9 through July 12.
Anglers to appear Wednesday morning are Castrol Pro and 2008 FLW Angler of the Year, David Dudley and Castrol Pro Carl Svebek and Mike Surman.
"Our fishing clinics are a great way to give something back to our loyal customers," said Castrol spokesperson Jamia Curtis. "They also give us a chance to introduce younger kids to the lifelong sport of fishing. In fact, we think these clinics can teach anglers of all skill levels new techniques. Here's a great chance to chat directly with some of the best bass anglers in the world."
Additional information will include details about what to check on autos and boats before heading out to the water; instructions about how to catch more fish; what life is like as a pro angler and general auto tips from the pros who put an average of 40,000 miles a year on their vehicles.
