Southwick Associates has announced the brands and products that hunters and shooters preferred most in 2007.
This list has been compiled from the 19,288 surveys that hunters and target shooters returned from HunterSurvey.com and TargetshootingSurvey.com last year. In 2007, the top brands included:
â Rifle: Remington (14.1 percent of all purchases)
â Shotgun: Mossberg (27.5 percent)
â Muzzleloader: Thompson Center (29.7 percent)
â Handgun: Smith & Wess on (17.6 percent)
â Scope for firearms: Bushnell (23.7 percent)
â Rifle ammunition: Remington (32.7 percent)
â Shotgun ammunition: Winchester (33 percent)
â Handgun ammunition: Winchester (26.2 percent)
â Blackpowder: Pyrodex (40.3 percent)
â Balls, bullets, or shot: Powerbelt (32.1 percent)
â Bow: Matthews (16.7 percent)
