Another savings will be the decision to place the bus purchase on the ballot as a proposition rather than the district paying cash as it has done in the past, Breault said.
Voters will be asked to choose School Board for three three-year seats.
Incumbents Susan Jones-King and John McCormick are running unopposed for their seats, and Tony Martin and Kip Young are challenging each other for the third open position, formerly held by Scott Henderson.
A public hearing on the budget is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday in the school auditorium.
The budget vote is from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, also in the auditorium.
