Two local residents, Tyler Chatelle of West Chazy and Leanne LaMondie of Constable, were among 570 undergraduate students to receive degrees from Nazareth College in Rochester.

The following local students received Bachelor of Science degrees from Clarkson University, Potsdam, in May: Dylan G. Sample of Mooers Forks, with distinction in chemical engineering, business major; Nicholas P. Van Der Munnik of Rouses Point, with distinction in chemical engineering, business major; Lucas A. Short of Plattsburgh, with distinction in civil engineering; Steven M. Barnes of Plattsburgh, civil engineering; Brandon T. Reyell of Plattsburgh, civil engineering; Eric W. Moody of Saranac Lake, civil engineering; Louis Racette of Saranac, with great distinction in computer engineering, honors program, psychology; Garret F. Peterson of West Chazy, computer engineering, mathematics minor, software engineering minor, Matthew P. Bussey of Ticonderoga, engineering and management, project management minor; Jonathan W. Barge of Saranac Lake, engineering and management, project management minor; Shannon M. Hanson of Elizabethtown, with distinction in global supply chain management, law studies minor; Blake A. Mosher of Brushton, innovation and entrepreneurship; Darran J. McGreevy of Wilmington, mechanical engineering; Jennifer A. Jubin of Lake Placid, political science, sustainable solutions minor; Shauni M. Trombly of West Chazy, with great distinction in psychology, biology minor; Andrew R. Boyea of Chateaugay, bachelor of professional studies with distinction; Britni L. Ashline of Plattsburgh received a Master of Business Administration degree, Matthew Paterson Trombly of Plattsburgh earned a Master of Business Administration; Lindsay M. Tarbell of Hogansburg was awarded a Master of Business Administration; and Kristin E. Bordeau of Vermontville received a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

Erica M. Harriman of Ellenburg Depot has been named to the Dean’s List at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Students must earn a 3.5 GPA to qualify for the honor.

Area students who were awarded bachelor’s degrees at the University of Vermont, Burlington, are: Jane F. McClelland of Keene Valley, nutrition and food sciences; Michael M. Franzon of Plattsburgh, civil engineering; Justin M. Houle of Plattsburgh, exercise and movement sciences; Joseph N. Shannawi of Plattsburgh, electrical engineering; Sarah M. Lake of Saranac, elementary education K-6; Michelle L. Brown of Saranac Lake, natural resources, Arielle N. Retrosi of Saranac Lake, global studies, Megan K. Ryan of West Chazy, athletic training education; Dana V. Allen of Westport, social work; and Sarah J. Gibbs of Westport, studio art.
