First Weekends. 5 to 8 p.m. Downtown Plattsburgh. Live music, street performers, harvest games, hay maze. 

Brandtastic Conference. 4 p.m. Business and Computer Center, SUNY Plattsburgh. Speaker Elizabeth Stewart, public relations representative for Ben & Jerry’s. Sponsored by the PSUC chapter of the American Marketing Association.

“Ghostbusters” Screening. 4 p.m. matinee for families, 7 p.m. flashback party. Lake Placid Center for the Arts, 17 Algonquin Drive, Lake Placid. Family showing, adults, $10; kids, $6; flashback party, $25, includes pre-screening ‘80s party with complimentary food, drink and nostalgic ‘80s fun. Co-sponsored by Adirondack Film Society and Adirondack Daily Enterprise.

Parents Nig-ht Out. 6 to 9 p.m. Nazarene Church, 187 Broad St., Plattsburgh. Community children invited to a night of pizza, gym games, crafts and more. Wear sneakers. Register at 561-1960 or

Winter Farmers Market. 10 a.m. City Recreation Center, 52 U.S. Oval, Plattsburgh.

Craft Fair. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. American Legion, Route 11, Chateaugay. Craft items, bake sale, raffle, silent auction.
