Two injured in car crash

PLATTSBURGH — Two people were taken to CVPH Medical Center after an accident in Plattsburgh this morning, according to Clinton County Dispatch.

The crash happened on Military Turnpike between Tom Miller Road and Route 3, and traffic in that area was halted as emergency workers tended to the injured.

From initial reports, it appeared a woman driving a car had struck a tractor-trailer truck, according to Justin Burl, a firefighter at Morrisonville Volunteer Fire Department who responded to the accident site.

An extrication device had to be used.

The Plattsburgh-based State Police trooper assigned to the accident was not immediately available.
