College Councilto hear about budget impact

PLATTSBURGH — The SUNY Plattsburgh College Council will hold its first fall meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the Alumni Conference Room, Angell College Center.

In addition to the standard committee reports and a report from President John Ettling, John Homburger, vice president for business affairs, will give the council a report on the impact of the 2013-14 state budget and bring members up to date on campus construction projects.

College Council meetings are open to the public.

PARC Board schedules annual meeting

PLATTSBURGH — The Plattsburgh Airbase Redevelopment Corp. Board of Directors will meet at 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, in PARC offices, second floor, 130 Arizona Ave.

The meeting will include remarks by Board Chairman Gilbert Duken, summaries of 2012-13 management and financial activities and committee reports.

PARC Board meetings are open to all, with time allowed for comments and questions from the public.

Saranac School Board meeting canceled

SARANAC — The Saranac Central School Board meeting scheduled for Sept. 16 has been canceled.

The next regularly scheduled School Board meeting is 6:30 p.m. Oct. 7.

AVCS Board meeting to be held

CLINTONVILLE — The AuSable Valley Central School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the Middle School-High School auditorium.

Agenda items will include special-education recommendations and personnel issues.

It is expected that an executive session will be held, followed by the regular meeting.

Board meetings are open to all.
