Fireworks close today's Battle of Plattsburgh events

4 to 5 p.m.: Music by the Rogues, Israel Green Tavern, 18 Trinity Place.

5 to 6 p.m.: Eliza Mooers Historic District Walking Tour, Melissa Bistor-Cross, starts at Macdonough Monument.

5 to 7:30 p.m.: Green Beans concert, Israel Green Tavern, 18 Trinity Place.

7:30 to 9:30 p.m.: Her Majesty’s Royal Marine Band of Cobourg, Ont., concert, Strand Theater, 25 Brinkerhoff St.

8 to 11 p.m.: Too Tall String Band concert, Israel Green Tavern, 18 Trinity Place; and Macomb Ball, English country dancing Ied by dance masters Wendy Gilchrist and Bruce Kokernot, with live period music, Elks Lodge.

SUNDAY

8 to 10 a.m.: 19th Century Anglican Church Services, Trinity Episcopal Church, 18 Trinity Place.

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Children’s Old-Time Village Fair, with storytelling, horseback rides, arts and crafts, dolls and teddy bears, old-time country store, Macdonough Monument grounds, City Hall Place.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Pipe-and-drum units, musical performances, downtown.

10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Boy Scout Booth Cachet, Trinity Park; Boy Scout Historic Trail, Trinity Park; and live Plucky Rooster display, Macdonough Monument.

11 to 11:30 a.m.: Live Plucky Rooster awards, Macdonough Monument; and Saratoga replica demonstration, Champlain Monument.

11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Soup Cookoff sponsored by National Alliance on Mental Illness: Champlain Valley, Trinity Park.

12:15 to 1 p.m.: Kids Muster, immediately followed by Kids Parade, Trinity Park.

1 to 2 p.m.: 1814 Battle Re-enactment, behind Champlain Monument.

1 to 3 p.m.: Macdonough Monument self-guided tours.
