By deploying two 4G technologies that work together for customers — LTE and HSPA+ — AT&T customers have access to consistently fast 4G speeds in and out of 4G LTE areas.

AT&T recently announced Project Velocity IP, its strategic plan to invest $14 billion over the next three years to expand its wireless and wireline IP broadband networks. As part of Project Velocity IP, AT&T’s 4G LTE network is expected to expand to cover 300 million people by year-end 2014, and its wireline IP network is expected to extend to 57 million customer locations, covering 75 percent of locations in AT&T’s wireline service area by year-end 2015.

Talk hosted

TICONDEROGA — The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce will host a business talk titled “Are You Aware How Much Your Work Space Affects Your Customers and Employees” on Tuesday, March 12, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Chamber Office in downtown Ticonderoga.

Vincent Smith, an author, national lecturer, and space consultant will talk about ways to create work spaces that will enhance sales and make employees more productive,” said Matthew Courtright, Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce executive director.

“Vincent will talk about general principals and then welcome specific problems that you may have. He has also volunteered to assist any business in improving its space, which should add to the bottom line.”

Refreshments will be sponsored and provided by Dunkin Donuts of Ticonderoga.

“We greatly appreciate the continued support from Dunkin Donuts for our business seminars. So many businesses and organizations within the Ticonderoga area assist and support the chamber to make all we do possible,” said Molly Bechard, Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce visitor and member service representative.

The chamber office is located at 94 Montcalm St. in Ticonderoga. Registration is required. For more information or to RSVP, contact the chamber at 585-6619 or chamberinfo@ticonderogany.com.
