LPCS Board meets today in Wilmington
LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid Central School Board meeting set for today is not at the usual location.
The board will meet at the Community Center on Springfield Road in Wilmington at 7 p.m.
Agenda items include a principal-search update.
Sessions are open to the public.
Meeting location changed for Champlain dissolution discussion
CHAMPLAIN — The Village of Champlain has changed the location of a meeting set for 5 p.m. Wednesday to review the process for dissolving village government.
It will now take place at the Town of Champlain Office Complex at 729 Route 9 in Champlain to provide space for larger attendance than can be accommodated at the Village Office.
Sean McGuire from the New York State Department of State will be there to answer questions on the topic.
A public vote on dissolution is set for March 19.
The meeting is open to the public, and everyone is being encouraged to attend.

Champlain Planning Board meeting canceled
CHAMPLAIN — The Town of Champlain Planning Board meeting scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 7, has been canceled.
The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 7.
Planning Board meetings are open to the public.
Free spray/neuter vouchers available
PLATTSBURGH — Clinton County Canine Club is once again offering vouchers for free or reduced cost spay/neuter surgeries for dogs at participating local veterinarians.
The vouchers are available to low-income Clinton County dog owners.
