SARANAC LAKE — Assemblyman Daniel Stec will deliver the commencement address at North Country Community College’s 46th-annual commencement, set for 11 a.m. Saturday at the Sparks Athletic Complex on the Saranac Lake campus.
Associate degrees will be awarded to 285 students, including associate degrees in arts, science and applied science. In addition, 86 one-year certificates will be awarded for office technology, community residence aide, practical nursing and computer graphics.
The presentation of the graduates to the Board of Trustees will be announced by Grand Marshal Bobbie Karp, director of Campus and Student Life.
A free shuttle service will run from the Science Building (Mulholland Hall) through the campus to the Sparks Athletic Complex, beginning at 10 a.m.
After the ceremony, the same transportation will be available to bring people to the reception in the Connector portion of the classroom building.
Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant parking will be reserved at the gymnasium complex for guests requiring special accommodations. Both the commencement and reception areas are ADA accessible.
NCCC has campuses in Saranac Lake, Ticonderoga and Malone.
