Several business and informational vendors will be lined up throughout park, selling their products and offering giveaways.
Agencies such as the Champlain Valley Search and Rescue K-9 Unit and the North Country Chapter of the American Red Cross are among those that will be on hand.
Chamber Director/Event Coordinator Tina Andrews-Perry was pleased to see the participation.
“These are services that are being provided for our community that are not, probably, well-known,” she said. “They’re sometimes the first responders, and it’s a matter of life and death in a lot of those cases with these people.”
As the festival concludes, the first act of a month-long Concerts in the Park series will kick off at 7 p.m. in Arsenal Green Park. This first concert will include singers, musicians and dancers from across the area.
Acts that are scheduled to perform in future Concerts in the Park include New Joy on Friday, July 19, and the Preve Family on Friday, July 26.
“The Concerts in the Park series is something that traditionally has been done in Malone years and years ago, and it was missed,” Andrews-Perry said.
“We decided to bring that series back, and it just tied in nicely with the festival, so we will be kicking it off on Saturday night.”
