Peru woman gets jail time for switching senior's drugs


If Terry violates the terms of her probation, she could face a maximum prison term of 11/3 to four years, the DA’s Office said.

“It is my hope that anyone in our community who suspects an elderly person is being taken advantage of or being hurt in any way will report it to the authorities so we can make sure that what happened in this case doesn’t happen again,” Clinton County District Attorney Andrew Wylie said in a statement. 

Terry was represented by attorney Mark Cowen.
