Community celebration

PLATTSBURGH — The Cornelia Street Office of Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Co. will celebrate its 15th anniversary and assist three local causes during a Community Appreciation Day on Thursday.

The Give the Gift-themed event will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 308 Cornelia Street in Plattsburgh. There will be a CVPH Medical Center blood drive from noon to 4:30 p.m. to give the gift of life, as well as an Elmore SPCA pet adoption clinic to give the gift of a home to a family-friendly dog.

In addition, the public is encouraged to give the gift of the holidays by donating toys to the Clinton County Christmas Bureau. Toy and pet food donations will be accepted on site throughout December.

To thank the community, the office will have coffee, hot chocolate and donuts in the morning, Stewart’s Shops chili and corn muffins for lunch, and cake. There will also be a gift-basket raffle for anyone who donates toys or pet food, as well as a drawing for an L.L.Bean Book Pack.

The Cornelia Street office is among many Glens Falls National locations hosting Community Appreciation Days this year. The events are meant to show the bank’s appreciation for its neighbors while assisting local causes.
