Race for Stace benefits students

EMPHASIS ON FUN

Free food and beverages follow the race, along with a silent auction and free giveaways.

“Also, the scholarship winners will be announced at that time,” Justin said. “The emphasis on the day is having fun.”

Preregistration forms are available today from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Emmaus Room at St. Peter’s Church on Cornelia Street in Plattsburgh.

The forms are also available at Warren Tire Service Center at 13 Broad St. in Plattsburgh (see Jen); Bark’s Convenience Store at the Shell Gas Station of Interstate 87 Exit 36 (see Brett); and Plattsburgh Primary Care Pediatrics, Suite 103, 159 Margaret St., (see Pat).

“I want to thank Warren Tire, Bark’s Convenience Store, Plattsburgh Primary Care Pediatrics, Studley Printing and WIRY’s Bob Pooler for all their support,” Justin said. 

“The support we get from the community is outstanding.”

Preregistration for the 5K is $15; $20 race day. The kids fun run, for ages 12 and younger, has a $5 entry fee.
