Using an encompassing approach and cross-promotion of events, activities and experiences could also help ease long-held tension between the north and south ends of the county.
County services are historically concentrated in the heavily populated northern portion even though most of the money to fund the programs and services is generated through taxes on waterfront and high-value properties in the south end.
