Minor delays expected with Saranac Lake work

SARANAC LAKE — The State Department of Transportation is reminding motorists that drainage improvement work has begun on State Route 86 (Lake Flower Avenue) in Saranac Lake.

The work is expected to be completed in about two weeks.

Sidewalk improvements along Lake Flower Avenue are also expected to begin soon and will continue throughout the summer. The resurfacing of Lake Flower Avenue is scheduled for this fall.

During these projects, motorists should expect minor delays as traffic will be limited to one lane and will be controlled with flaggers.
