City meeting to focus on beautification
PLATTSBURGH — The Quality of Life Committee of the Plattsburgh City Council will be holding a meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, in the meeting room of City Hall.
The agenda will focused on beautification planning for the city.
The public is encouraged to attend to brainstorm ideas and offer input on how the city can create more welcoming and beautiful spaces.

LPCS Board to meet April 29
LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid Central School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, in the Board of Education Conference Room, Administrative Services Building, 50 Cummings Road.
Agenda items include personnel matters and voting on the Board of Cooperative Educational Services administrative budget and board candidates.
The meeting is open to the public.
Chateaugay School Board to meet Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
CHATEAUGAY — The Chateaugay Central School Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 29.
Agenda items include an executive session for discussing personnel matters as they relate to specific individuals and contractual matters and an update on the wireless network project.
The public is welcome.
Cardinal PR seeks client for next fall
PLATTSBURGH — SUNY Plattsburgh’s student-run public relations firm, Cardinal PR, is in search of a new client for the upcoming academic school year.
Cardinal PR provides free public-relations services to local nonprofit organizations in the Plattsburgh community.
The firm will be holding client interviews from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, in Angell College Center.
The firm has collaborated with Hannah’s Hope Fund, GoPlattsburgh.com, Imaginarium Children’s Museum and, most recently, First Weekends in Plattsburgh Inc.
