“That’s a nice collaboration with another small business,” she said.
The Great Adirondack Soup Company, celebrating its 10th anniversary, started on Clinton Street and moved to the present location at 24 Oak St. in 2005.
“It’s been really interesting watching the the transition of businesses that open downtown,” he said. “There are almost double the number of restaurants from when we started.”
She said they are also involved in the new First Weekends initiative. That attempt by the arts corridor and downtown businesses to attract more visitors on the first Friday and Saturday of each month through September brought crowds on its first event, held last Friday and Saturday.
The Dominiannis are planning a 10th-anniversary celebration, tentatively scheduled for June 23 or 30, as a way to thank their customers for their loyalty.
“Our customer base has been very faithful,” Chris said.
