Heritage Day parade shaping up

The event will feature children’s games, a Chinese auction, souvenir table, petting zoo, face painting, bingo, a spelling bee, quilting, basket weaving and many other activities.

Food choices will include hamburgers, hot dogs, homemade ice cream, fried dough and cotton candy.

Whether you go to join in or just to watch, Warner said, the Moira Heritage Day parade and festival will be a fun time for the entire family.

“It’s a safe environment. The more that come and the more varied it is, the more people will) enjoy it.”
