PHS hires new assistant principal


He has also advised numerous student club activities, served as a College for Every Student liaison and had experience tending to some administrative duties throughout his career.

Baroody earned a certificate of advanced study in education administration and bachelor’s degree in business management from SUNY Plattsburgh and a master’s in business and marketing education from SUNY Oswego.

Having served locally as a varsity coach, Short said, Baroody already knows area officials and members of the sports community, making him a perfect fit for the district’s athletic program.

“We think he’ll relate very well with kids,” the superintendent added.

Baroody said he intends to work closely and collaborate with the school’s faculty, staff, coaches and students in order to balance his duties as assistant principal and athletic administrator.

“By building positive relationships, we can work together to achieve student goals both academically and in the Athletic Department,” he said.
