State Police seek Plattsburgh robbery suspects

PLATTSBURGH — State Police are investigating a robbery that took place in a wooded area behind Texas Roadhouse back in May.

A man was attacked in the woods off Cornelia Street on May 31 by three white males, who repeatedly struck him with their fists and feet and stole $800 in cash from him, police said on Tuesday.

The suspects are described as being about 15 to 18 years old.

One of the males had long dark hair and was wearing a leather coat and brown boots. Another of the attackers had long blonde hair, and the third male had short dark hair and was reported to be wearing red sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator Matthew Dandrow at 563-3761.

Calls may be made anonymously and will be kept confidential, State Police said.
