Regal Summer Movie Express returns

PLATTSBURGH — The Regal Summer Movie Express series returns to Champlain Centre mall starting Tuesday, July 1.

The Regal Cinemas Champlain Stadium 8 theater will offer a choice of one of two $1 movies at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through Aug. 27.

The series features family friendly PG-rated movies, with admission on a first-come, first-served basis for children and adults.

"Moviegoers of all ages can enjoy an incredible list of films with a wide variety of choices, from animated features to live-action stories about nature," Regal Entertainment Group Senior Vice President Ted Cooper said in a press release.

"It's great to see all of the kids and parents who make good use of this summertime fun."

A portion of the admission proceeds goes to the Will Rogers Institute, which promotes medical research that pertains to cardiopulmonary diseases, educates the public and donates neonatal ventilators to hospitals.
