Boil-water order for areas of city
PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton County Health Department has issued a boil-water order for areas at the south end of the City of Plattsburgh.
The order effects South Catherine Street from Leblanc Lane to the South Catherine Street Bridge and for the west half of South Platt Street.
"This is directive to remain in effect until the Health Department has satisfactory evidence of delivery of a safe water supply," the Clinton County Office of Emergency Services said on their Facebook page.
The order was issued after a loss of water system pressure resulting from water line repairs. It affects 75 city residents, according to Clinton County Dispatch.
