Excellence awards

CHAZY — Jenna Seguin, the service manager at Riley Ford in Chazy, and Jon Gravelle, sales professional, were recently awarded Ford Motor Company’s Employee Excellence Award for achieving the Elite (Level 4) in the program.

Receiving the Employee Excellence Award, Best of the Best, (Level 3), were Craig Bushey, sales professional, and Jon Gauthier, parts manager.

In order to receive these awards, Ford dealership employees must excel and exceed Ford Motor Company’s expectations in sales and fixed operations for sales, customer satisfaction and training performance.

New director

LAKE PLACID —  Wendy Knight, formerly of Knight & Day Communications in Manhattan, has been named senior managing director at Adworkshop.

She joins Adworkshop’s executive team composed of Tom and Adele Connors, Darcy Norfolk and Sandra Gagnon.

Knight brings more than 20 years of communications experience to her new role. In addition to owning her own communication and marketing firm, Knight has served as the director of communications for the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, public relations director for the International Culinary Center and the acting executive director of CIGNA HealthCare of Northern New England.

Additionally, Knight has worked as a freelance travel and lifestyle journalist for the New York Times and has served as a travel expert for ABC News Now, producing and hosting regular digital segments.

“Wendy brings drive, industry experience and exceptional communication skills to Adworkshop,” CEO Adele Connors said. “We are thrilled to have her join the team. As a native of New York State, Wendy is a self-described ‘outdoor enthusiast’ with a deep passion for, and lifelong connection to, the Adirondacks.”

In her role, Knight will use her executive-level experience to optimize Adworkshop’s internal operations and marketing services, build upon client relationships, increase innovation and creative capabilities.
